Power Cords and Splitters
To fit all the boats into the marina, we're putting multiple smaller boats into a single slip designed for a larger boat. We can use any spare shore power cords and particularly power cord splitters that our participants may have. If you need shore power, please bring shore power cords and splitters, and extras, if you have them.
Golf Cart Parking
Please note that carts cannot be parked around the marina from midnight to 6:00 am or they will be towed. This is a Village ordinance and we can’t do anything about it.
Crane Location
The Dockage and Haulout page has been updated with a map for Deep Point Marina, where the crane will be located.
Where Do I Dock?
Click the "DOCKAGE/HAULOUT" link to find out where your assigned slip is in the BHI Marina. This page has been updated.
Sailing Instructions Updated
An updated copy of the Sailing Instructions has been posted. Click the "SAILING INSTR." link on the left sidebar to see.
Crew List Updated
We've got some folks looking for a ride. Click the "CREW LIST" link on the left sidebar to find out who.
KATTACK!!
Check out the KATTACK service for this year's BHI Regatta! The KATTACK company provides each competitor with a gps device that they use to track your boat's position during the races. The races are then replayed on a large screen at the party tent at the end of each race day. To see an example, visit the KATTACK site by clicking on the logo on the right sidebar and playing the video. The KATTACK application adds a whole new dimension to your on-the-water experience.
Other Events in the Area
Links to area events have been provided on the right sidebar. Note that some of these events are still in the planning stages, so keep an eye on them.

The Bald Head Island Regatta (in case you haven't heard)
The Bald Head Island Regatta will continue the tradition of great racing for 2008 including a top notch race committee, accomodations that are truly world class, and those springtime Cape Fear breezes--you won't want to miss this one!
The BHI Regatta organizes both PHRF and One Design Racing, including spinnaker and non-spinnaker fleets. Three of a kind will be granted one-design class status within the appropriate fleet.
There's plenty to do off the water too . . .
The event venue is Bald Head Island, North Carolina. Click on the link on our sponsor list at the top of the page to find out more. Bald Head Island is a premier vacation destination offering offshore and protected inland racing less than 30 minutes from the marina. On-shore, the Bald Head Island catering staff provides a 5-star experience at the Harbor Pavilion Tent site. For the non-sailing support staff, BHI's Recreation Department schedules many activities including golf, nature trail walks and shopping.
